Tsubaki buckled forward with the force of a sneeze, catching her face in her hands so as not to catch the cat in the spray. The sound was more like a squeak than a sneeze, however, and when she emerged from behind her hands, her cheeks were crimson. She tried to smile, embarrassed.

“Oh you poor thing! You look like a tomato! Do you want some tea? Fresh air? How can I help?” Poor girl. It must be terrible to be allergic to fabulous.

“Oh no!” She backed up quickly, holding her hands out as if she could ward away the impending sneeze that looked like it might burst out any second. “Sorry sweetie!”
